As the owner of Pawpin’ Pawz and a Master Groomer Behavior Specialist (MGBS), Zakayla brings advanced knowledge of grooming-related behavior, stress signals, handling needs, and the difficulty levels that can affect a pet’s grooming experience. When needed, she helps guide functional behavior assessments and individualized behavior-modification plans designed around each dog’s specific needs.

Our goal is never to simply “get through” a groom. We work at each pet’s pace to build trust, increase confidence, and create more positive associations with grooming over time. Through consistent, fear-free care, we help pets feel calmer, safer, more comfortable, and increasingly cooperative during their appointments.
